Making a scrap coat made of different blocks of houndtooth and lemon seed stitch. I made 26 20st by 18 rows squares and 2 20st by 10R. I painstakingly sewed them together with the invisible join. And again I screaming, ” I’m never doing this again!!” The coat looks okay I just really hate weaving in ends and sewing.
I am still planning out the front. The sleeves are being completed in lemon peel stitch but when I run out of yarn, I change colors. This coat is going to be very colorful.
Finished. It’s not bad. Id wear it. so I’m happy with it. My husband says that the sleeves look like christmas trees so now I’m sad.
This is going away for the summer and I’ll bring it out in winter for a fun look.
