MINI CUTTLE FISH

The Cuttlefish is my favorite underwater animal. I teach preschool in a daycare and wanted something small to put in goody bags for the kids. My co-teacher’s and I both have birthdays a week apart and we had a party at the end of day. There are many patterns for octopi available but very few for cuttlefish. The ones I found were huge. Trying to solve the problem, I made a drawing and started crocheting. I made 14 Cuttlefish before I could create a pattern. Honestly, I’m all hands no brains, when working with my yarn.

SUPPLIES

I used two colors for these, but you can use as many as you want. Cuddlefish blend into their environment, so any color works. Any yarn or gauge can be used. Different gauges will affect the size of the finished project.
